There are several ways you can help if you like, and we’ve listed a few here:
1. Help spread the word to your friends and fellow knitters and crocheters by telling them to visit www.ScarvesForSpecialOlympics.org
2. Share the project on your Facebook, blog or in knitting and crocheting forums that you may follow online.
3. Upload photos of your Scarf Project progress to our Scarf Project Scrapbook on Facebook through the link found at www.ScarvesForSpecialOlympics.org
4. Let teachers know at your local schools so they can possibly use the Scarf Project as a community relations project.
5. Tell your local knitting and crocheting shops about it and maybe they can promote it as a group project or assignment.
6. Share the project with local nursing homes or other places where knitting and crocheting are popular hobbies.
7. Post an announcement sharing the project website link in your lunchroom at work or on a central bulletin board area. You just never know who else might knit or crochet in your workplace!
8. Recommend the Scarf Project to your own knitting or crocheting club. |
