New July/August issue of Crochet Today
Our projects this month relate to summer— fish toys, sea shell pillows, a baseball throw and colorful flowers, and warm-weather fashions make this a great issue for planning summer projects.
For this month’s feature, we’ve selected a few projects we hope you will enjoy. If you can’t find Crochet Today in your area, you can order a copy online.
To make it simple to create each project exactly as shown, every project is available as a kit.
Here’s a sneak preview of some of the projects in this issue:
Sail-away Robe Page 78 Stitched in a soft, terrycloth like Red Heart Moon & Stars, this cover-up is the remedy for that just-out-of-the-pool chill. It makes a super-cuddly bathrobe, too. Catch a Wave Afghan Page 66 Cheerful colors and swervy stripes make this afghan perfect for picnics on the beach or naps in the shade. The vibrant colors of Red Heart Designer Sport add to the fun.
Summer by the Sea Shell Page 22 This shell top crocheted in Red Heart Eco-Cotton is engineered to flatter, with seamless shaping and a stitch pattern that drapes well over the body. An offset granny motif panel gives just a hint of lacy interest.
Flippy the Fish Page 81 Straight out of the reef, this bright and cheery fish toy is swimmingly sweet. It’s a perfect project for crocheting poolside. Red Heart Classic makes it washable and colorfast.
There are many more projects online, so we invite you to click, explore and enjoy! www.CrochetToday.com.
