This show is host to the Crochet Guild of America's annual meeting, which also features Professional Development Day, held on July 23, 2008. Red Heart Ambassador Kathleen Sams will be presenting a roundtable discussion during Professional Development Day on making money from crochet. If you don’t know how to knit or crochet, or need help with techniques, she will be be providing free knitting and crochet lessons in the Teach Me 2 Knit/Crochet booth at the vendor market.

• Door prize drawings for DVDs of the first season of Knit & Crochet Today, Crochet Today magazine subscriptions and yarn prize packages
• Pompoms will be made and collected for Pom Pom International to help meet the organization's goal of making the world's largest pompom
