New One Stick: Two Stick kits are unique in that they are designed to promote a feeling of community. Each kit gives you the ingredients to make a little something for yourself and a little something for someone else.  What you share is up to you: teach a friend to knit or crochet, give your creation to someone special or donate it to someone in need.

Each One Stick: Two Stick felting kit uses bamboo wool.  It’s soft and breathable with a beautiful natural sheen.  Bamboo is the most sustainable of all natural fibers, so you’ll enjoy working with it and know that you are doing a good thing for the environment.

The name One Stick:Two Stick was inspired by an early American parable.  In the story an old man teaches the power of community by demonstrating that one stick is easily snapped in two while a bundle of sticks is not.  Together, we are stronger.  This is the vision, designer Maggie Pace had for One Stick: Two Stick kits. They are meant to share.

At a point when she was ready for a career change, Maggie Pace discovered felting and loved it! Other women in her family had craft businesses, so it was her next logical step. By the time Maggie reached the end of  four months of doctor-ordered bed-rest for pregnancy complications, both her son and her new kits were born.

Felted Kits include Keychain Pouches, Girlfriend Bracelets, a Hat and Sushi Wallet & key fob. The Baby kit makes 3 items- a hat, shoulder cloth and booties
