Gauge Swatch: Ch 35 and work in pat over 34 sts for 12 rows. Swatch should measure 8" wide by 4 1/2" long.

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS:
dc2tog
= [yo and draw up a lp in next st, yo and draw through 2 lps] twice, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook.
puff st = [yo and draw up a lp to height of dc] 4 times all in same st, yo and draw through all 9 lps on hook.

To Change Color in Sc: Draw up a lp in last st, drop color in use, draw through both lps with next color to be used.
With CA, ch 154.
Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn – 153 sc.
Row 2: Ch 2, dc in next sc, [dc2tog] twice, * ch 1, [puff st in next sc, ch 1] 5 times **, [dc2tog] 6 times; rep from * to last 6 sc, end at **; [dc2tog] 3 times; turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first 3 sts, * sc in next ch-1 sp, [sc in next puff st, sc in next sp] 5 times **, sc in next 6 sts; rep from * to last 3 sts, end at **; sc in last 3 sts changing to CB in last dc; turn. Cut CA.
Row 4: With CB, ch 3, skip first 2 sc, [dc in next sc, skip next sc] twice, * ch 1, [dc in next sc, ch 1] 5 times **, [dc in next sc, skip next sc] 6 times; rep from * to last 6 sc, end at **; [skip next sc, dc in next sc] 3 times; turn.
Row 5: Ch 1, sc in each dc and ch-1 sp across; sc in top of ch-3 changing to CC. Cut CB.
Rows 6 and 7: With CC, rep Rows 2 and 3.
Rep Rows 2-7 until approximately 40" from beg, end by working last 2 rows with CA; turn, do not cut yarn.
Edging-Rnd 1: Ch 1, with right side facing, work 1 rnd sc evenly around entire blanket, working 3 sc in each corner; join with a sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, skip next sc, * sl st in next sc, ch 3, skip next sc; rep from * around, adjusting at corners and end of rnd as necessary; join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
