BACK: Ch 53 (59, 65, 69).
Row 1 (Wrong Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across; turn – 52 (58, 64, 68) sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across; turn.
Rep Row 2 until 14½" from beg, end wrong side row.

Shape Armholes: Sl st in first 7 (8, 10, 11) sc, ch 1, sc in next 38 (42, 44, 46) sc; turn leaving last 7 (8, 10, 11) sc unworked. Work even until 20½ (21, 21½, 22)" from beg, end wrong side row.

Shape Shoulder and Back Neck: Ch 1, sc in first 8 (10, 11, 12) sc; TURN. Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 3 rows – 5 (7, 8, 9) sc. Work 1 row even. Fasten off.
With right side facing, skip center 22 sc of last long row, join yarn in next sc; ch 1, sc in same sc and next 7 (9, 10, 11) sc; turn. Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 3 rows. Work 1 row even. Fasten off.

FRONT: Work same as for Back until 11½ (12, 12½, 13)" from beg, end wrong side row.

Divide for V-Neck: Ch 1, sc in first 26 (29, 32, 34) sc, join a new skein of yarn and sc across rem 26 (29, 32, 34) sc. Working sides separately and at the same time, work 1 row even. Dec 1 st at each neck edge on next 14 right side rows AND AT THE SAME TIME, when 14½" from beg, shape armholes same as for Back. After all dec, work even on 5 (7, 8, 9) sts for each shoulder until same length as Back. Fasten off.

SLEEVE CABLE PANEL:
Row 1 and every Wrong Side Row: Sc in next 2 sts, ch 2, sc in next 10 sts, ch 2, sc in next 2 sts.
Row 2 (Right Side): * Fpdc over fpdc, sc in sc, ch 2, sc in sc, fpdc over fpdc *, sc in sc; skip next 2 fpdc, fptr over next 2 fpdc, fptr over first two skipped fpdc – cable made; sc in sc; rep from * to * again.
Row 4: * Fpdc over fpdc, sc in sc, ch 2, sc in sc, fpdc over fpdc *, sc in sc, fpdc over next 4 sts, sc in sc; rep from * to * again.
Row 6: Rep Row 4.
Rep Rows 1-6 for Cable Panel.

SLEEVES: Ch 29 (31, 33, 35).
Foundation Row (Wrong Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 5 (6, 7, 8) ch, * dc in next ch, sc in next ch, ch 2, skip next ch, sc in next ch, dc in next ch *, sc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, sc in next ch; rep from * to * again; sc in last 6 (7, 8, 9) ch; turn – 28 (30, 32, 34) sts (ch-2 sps count as one st each).
Next Row: Ch 1, sc in 6 (7, 8, 9) sc, place marker, * fpdc over dc, sc in sc, ch 2, sc in sc, fpdc over dc *, sc in sc, fpdc over next 4 dc, sc in sc; rep from * to * again; place marker, sc in last 6 (7, 8, 9) sc; turn. Place Cable Panel:
Next Row: Ch 1, sc to marker, work Cable Panel Row 1 over next 16 sts to next marker, sc to end.
Working correct rows of Cable Panel and keeping sts on each side in sc, shape sides by inc 1 st each end of 7th (7th, 7th, next) row, then every 4th row 6 (6, 6, 7) times – 42 (44, 46, 50) sts total with 13 (14, 15, 17) sts outside of markers. Work even until 15 (15½, 16, 16½)" from beg, end right side row.
Fasten off.

FINISHING: Sew shoulder and side seams. Set in sleeves, sewing upper 2½ (3, 3½, 4)" to armhole shaping rows. Sew sleeve seams.
Edging (Work around body and each sleeve): With right side facing, join yarn at lower edge and work 1 round slip st.
Fasten off.
Neck Band-Row 1: With right side facing, beg at right front center "V", work 30 sc evenly up to shoulder, 31 sc across back neck, 30 sc down to center "V"; turn – 91 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across; turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in sc, * fpdc over sc 2 rows below, sc in next sc; rep from * across; turn.
Row 4: Rep Row 2.
Row 5: Ch 1, sc in sc, * fpdc over fpdc, sc in next sc; rep from * across; turn.
Rep Rows 4 and 5 until neck band measures 3¼". Fasten off.
Cross right over left band and sew in place.
