ASSEMBLE BODY: Use CA, sl st sc into free loop of top and bottom of body, sc in each ch loop (in both sides), 3 sc in
corner and turn, sc in each in row end down side of body, 3 sc in corner and turn, sc in each sc across bottom edge, 3 sc in corner and turn (stuff and shape the head, slip pillow into body and position and shape), sc in each in row end up the side of body, 3 sc in corner and turn, sc in each free loop of ch across. Fasten off.

Rnd 16: (Sc in next 4 sc, skip next sc, sc in next sc) 8 times – 40 sc.

Break off CA.
Rnds 5-7: Use CB, sc in each sc around – 40 sc.
Rnd 8: (Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 10 times – 50 sc.
Rnds 9-13: Sc in each sc around – 50 times.
Rnds 14-15: (Sc in next 3 sc, skip next sc, sc in next sc) 10 times; 8 times – 40 sc, 32 sc.
Rnd 16: (Sc in next 2 sc, skip next sc, sc in next sc) 8 times – 24 sc.
Rnd 17: (Sc in next sc, skip next sc, sc in next sc) 8 times – 16 sc.
Rnd 18: Sc in every other sc around – 8 sc.
Rnd 19: Sl st in every other sc around – 4 sts. Fasten off.
Optional Toe: Stitch through paw with yarn, tighten and secure. Repeat twice more for 3 toes. Sew feet onto sides of body.
EYES (Make 2)
Use CE, ch 2 and turn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from the hook – 6 sc.
Rnd 2: Use CD, sc, hdc in next sc, 2 hdc in next 3, use CA, sc, hdc, dc, tr in next sc, tr, dc, hdc, sc in next sc, sl st in next sc to join. Sew onto front of head.
Optional Whiskers: Use CA for French Knot Whiskers.
