Split lock marker; yarn needle; 8mm plastic doll eyes for each doll; two ½" shirt buttons; red and black embroidery floss; black sewing thread; polyester fiberfill; sewing needle.

RASPBERRY DOLL

HEAD-Rnd 1: With CA, ch 2; 6 sc in ring; DO NOT JOIN but mark last sc made; tighten ring. You will now be working in a spiral marking the last st made to indicate end of rnd.
Rnd 2: [2 sc in next st] 6 times - 12 sts.
Rnd 3: [Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st] 6 times - 18 sts.
Rnd 4: [Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st] 6 times - 24 sts.
Rnd 5: [Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st] 6 times - 30 sts.
Rnd 6: [Sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st] 6 times - 36 sts.
Rnds 7 and 8: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 9: [Sc2tog, sc in next 4 sts] 6 times - 30 sts.
Rnd 10: [Sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts] 6 times - 24 sts.
Rnd 11: [Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts] 6 times - 18 sts.
Rnd 12: [Sc2tog, sc in next st] 6 times; sl st in next st - 12 sts. Fasten off leaving a 10" tail on this and every piece.

BODY-Rnds 1-4:Work same as for Head - 24 sts.
Rnd 5: Working through back loops only, sc in each st around.
Rnd 6: [Sc2tog, sc in next 4 sts] 4 times - 20 sts.
Rnd 7: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 8: [Sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts] 4 times - 16 sts.
Rnd 9: Rep Rnd 7.
Rnd 10: [Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts] 4 times; sl st in next st - 12 sts. Fasten off.

FEET (Make 2)-Rnds 1 and 2: With CB, work same as for Head - 12 sts.
Rnd 3: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 4: [Sc2tog] 6 times; sl st in next st - 6 sts. Fasten off.

ARMS (Make 2)-Rnd 1: With CB, ch 2; 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook; do not join, mark last st; tighten ring.
Rnd 2: [2 sc in next st] 5 times - 10 sts.
Rnd 3: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 4: [Sc 2 tog] 5 times, changing to CA in last st - 5 sts. Stuff hand with fiberfill.
Rnds 5-7: Rep Rnd 3. Sl st in next st. Fasten off.

EARS (Make 2)-Rnds 1 and 2: With CB, work same as for arms - 10 sts.
Rnds 3-7: Sc in each st around. Sl st in next st. Fasten off.

SCARF: With CC, ch 32; hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across. Fasten off.

FINISHING: Weave in all loose ends, leaving tails for sewing. Stuff head, body and feet with fiberfill. Whipstitch head and body together. Whipstitch feet to body. Sew arms to top of body. Sew ears to top of head. Using thread doubled in sewing needle, sew on eyes. With red floss, embroder a straight stitch mouth as shown. Tie scarf around neck.

PUMPKIN DOLL

HEAD:
With CG, work same as for Raspberry Doll.
BODY: With CH, work same as for Raspberry Doll.
FEET (Make 2): With CJ, work same as for Raspberry Doll.
ARMS (Make 2)-Rnd 1: With CJ, ch 2; 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook; do not join, mark last st and work in a spiral as before.
Rnd 2: [2 sc in next st] 5 times - 10 sts.
Rnd 3: Sc in each st around, changing to CH in last st.
Rnds 4-7: Sc in each st around. Sl st in next st. Fasten off.
EARS (Make 2): Work same as for Raspberry Doll Arms, working Rnds 1-4 with CJ and Rnds 5-7 with CH.
FINISHING: Weave in all the loose ends, leaving tails for sewing. Stuff head, body, arms, and feet with fiberfill. Assemble pieces as for Raspberry Doll. Using thread doubled in sewing needle, sew on eyes; sew buttons on center front of body. With floss, embroider a red mouth and a black eyebrow over left eye as shown.

CORNMEAL DOLL

HEAD:
With CD, work same as for Raspberry Doll.
BODY: With CE, work same as for Raspberry Doll.
FEET (Make 2): With CD, work same for Raspberry Doll.
ARMS (Make 2): Work same as for Raspberry Doll, working Rnds 1-4 with CD and Rnds 5-7 with CE.
EARS (Make 2): With CD, work same as for Raspberry Doll.
SCARF: With CF, work same as for Raspberry Doll.
FINISHING: Work as for Raspberry Doll.
