BLANKET: Square 1 (Make 6): With CA, ch 20.
Row 1 (Right Side): 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, * skip next ch; 2 dc in next ch - V-st made; rep from * to last 2 ch; skip next ch, dc in last ch; turn - 8 V-sts.
Rows 2-9: Ch 3, * V-st in sp between 2 dc of next V-st; rep from * to last st; dc in 2nd ch of ch-3; turn. Fasten off.
Square 2 (Make 9): With CB, work same as Square 1.
Square 3 (Make 15): With CC, work same as Square 1.
FINISHING: Weave in ends. Sew squares together in 5 strips of 6 squares each as follows:
Strips 1, 3, and 5: Starting as lower edge of strip, [Square 2, Square 3] 3 times. Mark 2nd Square 3 of strip 3 for pocket.
Strips 2 and 4: Starting at lower edge of strip, [Square 3, Square 1] 3 times.
Sew the strips together, keeping all lower edges at the lower edge of the blanket.
Edging-Rnd 1: With right side facing, join CC and work an even number of sc around, working 3 sc in each corner; join with a sl st in first sc. Rnd 2: * Ch 2, skip next sc, hdc in next sc, ch 2, skip next sc, sl st in next sc; rep from * around; join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

POCKET: Square 1 (Make 4): With CA, ch 4; join with a sl st in first ch to form a ring. Rnd 1: Ch 3, 2 dc in ring; [ch 2, 3 dc in ring] 3 times, ch 2; join with a sl st to top of ch-3. Fasten off.
Square 2 (Make 5): With CB, make same as Pocket Square 1.
FINISHING: Weave in ends. Alternating colors sew together as shown into 3 rows of 3 squares each. Edging: With right side facing, join CB with sc in corner of assembled pocket, work 2 more sc in same corner, sc evenly around pocket, working 3 sc in each corner; join. Fasten off, leaving long end for sewing. Sew 3 edges of pocket onto blanket over marked Square 3 of Strip 3, leaving top edge of pocket open.

BEAR: NOTE: Do no join rounds. Mark first sc of round and move marker up in each round.
HEAD-Rnd 1: With CB, ch 2; 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook - 6 sc. Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc. Rnds 3, 5-8: Sc in each sc around. Rnd 4: [Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times - 18 sc. Rnd 9: [Draw up a lp in next sc] twice, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook - sc2tog made; [sc2tog] 8 times - 9 sc. Rnd 10: Rep Rnd 3. Fasten off.
SWEATER-Rnd 11: Join CA with sc in first sc, sc in same sc as joining, [2 sc in next sc] 8 times - 18 sc. Rnd 12: [Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times - 24 sc. Rnds 13-19]: Rep Rnd 3. Rnd 20: [Sc in next 10 sc, sc2tog] twice - 22 sc. Fasten off.
BODY-Rnd 21: Join CB with sc in first sc, sc in next sc and in each sc around. Rnd 22: Rep Rnd 3. Rnd 23: Sc2tog, sc in next 7 sc, [sc2tog] twice, sc in next 7 sc, sc2tog - 18 sc. Fasten off, leaving long end for sewing.
Stuff head, sweater, and body lightly with fiberfill. Hold Rnd 23 flat and sew bottom seam of body flat.
SNOUT-Rnd 1: With CB, ch 2; 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Rnd 2: [Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] 3 times - 9 sc. Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around. Fasten off.
Stuff lightly and sew in place on front of head. Using floss, embroider eyes, nose, and mouth as shown.
EARS (Make 2): With CB, ch 2; 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Fasten off. Sew in place on top sides of head as shown.
ARMS (Make 2)-Rnd 1: With CB, ch 2; 6 ch in 2nd ch from hook. Rnds 2-9: Sc in each sc around. Fasten off.
Stuff lightly. Sew top seams of arms flat; sew arms in place on sides of Sweater on Rnd 13.
SLEEVES (Make 2): With CA, ch 11. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn - 10 sc. Rows 2 and 3: Ch 1, sc in each sc across; turn. Fasten off.
Sew row ends together for underarm seam. Slip sleeve over arm and sew to Sweater on Rnds 12-14.
LEGS (Make 2): With CB, ch 5. Rnd 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 2 ch, 3 sc in last ch, working in free lps on opposite side of ch, sc in next 2 ch, 2 sc in last ch - 10 sc. Rnd 2: Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in each of next 3 sc (front of foot made), sc in next 4 sc - 13 sc. Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around. Rnd 4: Sc in next 2 sc, [sc2tog] 5 times, sc in next sc - 8 sc. Rnds 5-8: Sc in each sc around. Fasten off.
Stuff lightly. Sew Rnd 8 flat with front of foot centered. Sew in place on bottom of Body.
SWEATER RIBBING: With CA, ch 4. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn - 3 sc. Rows 2-24: Ch 1, working in back lps only, sc in each sc across; turn. Fasten off.
Sew to bottom of Sweater over Rnds 18-20; sew first and last rows together.
COLLAR: With CA, ch 3. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and next ch; turn - 2 sc. Rows 2-16: Ch 1, working in back lps only, sc in each sc across; turn. Fasten off.
Sew one long edge around neck at Rnd 10 of Sweater; sew first and last rows of collar together. Weave in loose ends.
