Work the last st of the last row before the color change until 3 (2) lps remain on hook; drop color in use, with next color to be used, yo and draw through 3 (2) lps on hook. Continue with new color.

WAVE PATTERN:
Row 1 (Right Side): Ch 3, skip first hdc, * CFDC over next 2 hdc, 5 dc in next hdc, skip next hdc, [dc in next hdc, skip next hdc] 7 times, 5 dc in next hdc; rep from * to last 3 sts; CFDC over next 2 sts, dc in top of ch 2; turn.
Row 2: Ch 2, skip first dc, hdc in each st across and in top of ch-3; turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, skip first hdc, * CFTR over next 2 sts, 5 dc in next hdc, skip next hdc, [dc in next hdc, skip next hdc] 7 times, 5 dc in next hdc; rep from * to last 3 sts; CFTR over next 2 sts, dc in top of ch-2; turn.
Rep Rows 2 and 3 for Wave Pattern.

STRIPE SEQUENCE:
3 rows MC, 1 row CA, 3 rows CB, 1 row MC, 3 rows CA, and 1 row CB.

BLANKET
With MC, ch 176.
Foundation Row (Wrong Side): Hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn – 175 sts. Work in Wave Pattern and Stripe Sequence over 9 waves until approximately 38" from beg, end wrong side row. Fasten off.

FINISHING: Border-Rnd 1: With right side facing, attach MC in any corner. Skipping one st or a space equivalent to one st after each ch-1, work as follows: ch 3 (counts as hdc, ch 1), * work hdc, ch 1 evenly to corner **, work (hdc, ch 3, hdc) all in corner, ch 1; rep from * around, end at **; (hdc, ch 3) all in same st as joining for last corner; join with a sl st in 2nd ch of ch-3.
Rnd 2: (Sl st, ch 2, hdc) all in next ch-1 sp, * 2 hdc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * to corner; 5 hdc in corner ch-3 sp; rep from * around; join in top of ch-2. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Attach CA in any center hdc of any corner; ** (sl st, ch 2, sl st) all in corner st, ch 2, skip next st, * sl st in next st, ch 2, skip next st; rep from * to corner; rep from ** around; join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
