Row 1 (Wrong Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across; turn – 148 sc.
Row 2 (Right Side): Ch 3, (counts as first dc), skip first sc, WORKING IN BACK LPS ONLY, dc in next sc, [dc-dec] 3 times, * [ch 1, dc in next sc] 6 times **, [dc-dec] 6 times; rep from * to last 8 sc, end at **; [dc-dec] 3 times, dc in last 2 sc; turn – 8 waves.
Row 3: Ch 1, working in both lps, sc in first 6 sts, * [sc in ch-1 sp, sc in next st] 6 times **, sc in next 6 sts; rep from * to last 4 sts, end at **; sc in next 3 sts, sc in top of ch-3; turn.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for pattern until approximately 20" from beg, end by working Row 3. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
