	MODA DEA Tweedle Dee: 1 1/2 Ounces No. 8911 Blue Heather. Crochet Hook: 6mm [US J-10] Yarn needle

	sizes

	Cap measures approximately 4 1/2" wide x 5" tall and holds a standard size gift card.

gauge/tension

GAUGE: 11 sts = 4"; 5 rows = 3" in dc.

	instructions

	Ch 6. Brim-Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn – 5 sc. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in back lp only of each sc across; turn. Rows 3-22: Rep Row 2. Form Circle: With wrong side facing and short edges aligned and working through top of last row and remaining lp of foundation ch; ch 1, sl st in each st across; turn Brim to work along ends of rows. Crown-Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc in each row end around; join with a sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 – 22 sts. Rnds 2-7: Ch 3, dc in each dc around. Rnd 8: * Ch 9, sl st in next st; rep from * around – 22 ch-9 lps. Fasten off. FINISHING: Fold up brim; flatten cap and tack bottom opening closed. Tie: Make a chain 12" long. Weave tie through last dc rnd of cap. Insert gift card. Pull tie tightly to close top opening of cap and form a pompom. Tie ends together to form hanger. Weave in ends.
