To Change Color in Sc: With color in use, draw up a lp in last st of row, drop color in use; with next color to be used, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook. Continue working with new color.

To Change Color in Dc: With color in use, yarn over and draw up a lp in last st of row, yarn over and draw yarn through 2 lps, drop color in use; with next color to be used yarn over and draw through 2 lps remaining on hook. Continue working with new color.

SHRUG

With CA and smaller hook ch 32.
Row 1 (Right Side): (Sc, ch 4, dc) all in 2nd ch from hook, skip next 2 ch, * (sc, ch 4, dc) all in next ch –shell made; skip next 2 ch; rep from * to last ch; sc in last ch changing to CB; turn.
Row 2: Ch 5, * shell in next ch-4 sp; rep from * to last sp; sc in last sp, ch 3, dc in last sc changing to CC; turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first dc, ch 4, dc in next ch-3 sp, * shell in next ch-4 sp; rep from * to last ch-5 sp; sc in last sp changing to CA; turn.
Row 4: Rep Row 2 changing to CB.
Row 5: Rep Row 3 changing to CC.
Row 6: Rep Row 2 changing to CA.
Row 7: Rep Row 3 changing to CB.

Rnd 2: Sl st in ch-4 sp, ch 1, * shell in ch-4 sp; rep from * around; join to first sc. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Center Collar/Bottom Edge: With right side facing and smaller hook, attach CA in seam at center opening, work in row end spaces evenly spaced as follows:
Rnd 1: Ch 1, * shell in sp; rep from * around; join to first sc.
Rnd 2: Sl st to ch-4 sp, ch 1, * shell in ch-4 sp; rep from * around; join to first sc.
Rnd 3: Rep Rnd 2 changing to CC.
Rnds 4-9: Rep Rnd 2. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
