Special Stitch: Picot
Ch 3, insert the hook in first crocheted ch, yo and pull through the loops to close the picot with a slip stitch.

Belt:

Rnd 1: Join ribbon with a loop to ring, yo and pull through, work 24 sc in ring; join with a sl st.

Row 2: Ch 3, 3 dc in next st, work 1 Picot, 4 dc in same st; turn.

Rows 3-30 (32, 34): Repeat last row.

Don’t fasten off after last row, take the 2nd ring and work 24 sc and connect with a sl st. Fasten off.

Finishing:
Weave in ends.

Fringe: Cut ribbon into 15” lengths. Fold in half forming a loop; insert crochet hook from the wrong side of the fabric into a space at the end of the belt, insert hook into loop, pull loop through space then pull ends through the loop and tighten.
