FIRST MOTIF
Ch 8; join with a sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 16 sc in ring; join with a sl st in first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 4, [dc in next sc, ch 1] 15 times; join to 3rd ch of beg ch-4.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, [2 sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 3, sk next dc, 2 sc in ch-1 sp, 1 sc in next dc] 8 times, joing with a sl st in first sc.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sl st in same st, [9 dc in next ch-3 sp, sk 2 sc, sl st in next sc, (4 dc, ch 3, 4 dc) all in next ch-3 sp, sk 2 sc, sl st in next sc] 4 times; join.
Rnd 5: Sl st to center dc of next 9 dc group, [ch 5, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in next ch-3 sp, ch 5, sl st in center dc of next 9 dc group] 4 times, join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

SCARF:
Make 10 squares, crochet pieces together in last round or sew together.
FRINGE:
Cut 14" lengths of yarn. Holdering 2 strands together, fold in half forming a loop. Insert crochet hook from the wrong side of the fabric and draw the loop through, then draw the yarn ends through the loop and tighten. Rep across each end of scarf. Trim yarn ends.
HAT:
Make 5 squares, sew or crochet 4 squares to a circle, sew or crochet fifth square on top of circle.
Hat Brim: With RS facing, join yarn in any corner square, work 16 sc in edge of each square around; join with a sl st to beg sc - 64 sc.
Rnds 2-3: Ch 1, sc around; join.
Fasten off. Weave in all ends. |
