Swedish Weaving Patterns
Swedish Weaving, also called "huck embroidery," is an easy to learn technique of weaving embroidery threads through small loops (called "floats") that are found on the surface of a specially woven fabric, called "huck toweling" Once you get the hang of this easy-to-learn technique, the pattern and color combinations are endless!
The patterns featured on this page were originally published by Coats in the 1950s. To learn more about this technique, and try your hand at creating one of our patterns, we invite you to explore our How To section, as well as our collection of free hand embroidery projects.
