FOR KNITTED SCARF:
With smaller needles, cast on 26 stitches.
Row 1 (Right Side): Knit.
Rows 2-4: Knit.
Row 5: With larger needle, Knit.
Rows 6, 7, 8, 9: With smaller needles, Knit.
Repeat Rows 5-9 until approximately 60" from beginning. Bind off. Weave in ends.
FOR CROCHETED SCARF:
Ch 10 loosely.
Row 1 (Right Side): 2 Dc in 4th ch from hook, [skip next ch; 2 dc in next ch – group made] 3 times; turn – 9 stitches.
Row 2: Ch 2, [work a group in the space between the next two groups] 3 times, work a group between the last group and the ch; turn.
Repeat Row 2 until approximately 78" from beginning. Fasten off. Weave in ends. |
