	Directions are for size 1 year; changes for size 2 years are in parentheses.

	gauge/tension

	GAUGE: 28 sts = 4"; 40 rows = 4" in Stockinette Stitch. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.
