Note
If fabric needs more body in order to hold it’s shape when sewn into a bag, fuse interfacing to the wrong side of the fabric before constructing bag.

Cutting
Front: Cut 17"x 17" piece. Using a hanger for a pattern,trace a cutting line to shape top of organizer. Cut on line.

Back: Cut 17" x 16½", using front as a pattern to shape top edge.

Pocket: Cut 9" x 17"

Days of the Week
Thread machine with Coats Tri-lobal Polyester embroidery thread on top and all-purpose thread in the bobbin. Using a marking pencil and remaining fabric, mark off 2" x 3" rectangles, then hoop and embroider a day of the week on each one. Cut on markings. Cut 7 blank 2" x 3" rectangles. Center and sew a 1" piece of the hook side of the tape on right side of the blank rectangles. Put an embroidered square and a blank square wrong sides together and satin stitch around the raw edges.

Back
Sew a 15" strip of the loop side of tape across the right side of the back (for storing 'days'.)

Front
Draw a line across front 12" up from lower edge. Cut front into two pieces. Embroider "RETURN ON" onto the upper piece (see photo).

Zipper
Press under ½" on each upper and lower front pieces. Place the folded edge of fabric beside the zipper, 1/8" from the zipper teeth. Pin in place. Stitch along the folded edge using the zipper foot. Repeat on other side of zipper. Select a decorative stitch and sew on either side of the zipper. Sew a 1" piece of the loop side of the tape below the zipper centered underneath "RETURN ON".

Pocket
Press ½" under along one long edge.Select a decorative stitch and sew across folded edge using embroidery thread. Mark center of the pocket piece. Center and sew a 1" piece of loop side of tape on each pocket section.

Assembly
Place the pocket piece on the front, aligning raw edges. Stitch from the folded edge to the raw edges on center marking to form pockets. Place the front and back of the organizer, right sides together. Be sure the zipper is open for turning. Sew back and front together using a ½" seam allowance. Leave a 1" opening at the top for the hanger.
Trim corner's diagonally. Trim seam to reduce bulk.Turn the organizer to the right side through zipper opening.

Press. Insert hanger, if necessary, bend to fit.
