The 34th Annual Fall International Quilt Festival will be held in Houston Texas November 1-4.

Quilters attending the International Quilt Festival can expect to shop more than 1100 booths, pick from close to 400 classes, lectures and special events, enjoy free teacher demos, and learn from educational exhibits.

This years special exhibits are outstanding. You’ll see more than 2000 great quilts, dolls and pieces of wearable art in exhibits like “America Collects Quilts®: The Poos collection; The silver Star Salute: Michael James and a the very special U. S debut showing of “The Quilt of Belonging”.  The “In the American Tradition VI” exhibit, sponsored in part by Coats & Clark, features quilts based on American quilt designs and patterns.
