Somewhere in Time
Featured in Coats recent advertisements is a beautiful Baltimore Album quilt titled Somewhere in Time by Judy Laval Morton. Judy constructs her quilts completely by hand using Coats Dual Duty Plus® All-purpose thread and Coat Dual Duty Plus® Hand Quilting thread. The quilt, Somewhere in Time, features dimensional appliqué techniques popular in mid-19th Century Album quilts and took 7 years to complete.
The pattern is not available, however Judy was inspired by a class she took from noted author, teacher and fabric designer Elly Sienkiewicz.
