The Sewing & Stitchery Expo offered by Washington State University Cooperative Extension Service is the largest, most comprehensive consumer education and trade event for the sewing industry in the United States. More than 32,000 people from as far away as Spain and Australia put the Sewing & Stitchery Expo on their calendar every year.
This year it takes place February 26, 27, 28 & Mar 1 at the Puyallup Fair and Events Center in Puyallup Washington.
The expo is the perfect place for both experienced and beginning sewers to indulge their creative passions or explore new ones in a friendly, festive and educational environment.

Free Style shows and demonstrations on the Free Stages run continuously throughout the show.
Over 100 seminars are offered by sewing celebrities including—Nancy Zieman, Sue Hausman, Martha Pullen, Patti Palmer, and Sandra Betzina to name a few.
Coats & Clark’s Lynn Browne will tell “ The Story of Thread” plus has a goody bag for those attending her seminar. Be sure to visit the Coats & Clark booth to see all of our new threads plus fantastic garments and quilts.
Special events include Friday Night LIVE with Nancy Zieman and Mary Mulari, A Quilter’s night out with Mark Lipinski, and Recycle Rama with the Threadbangers crew. The Rowenta Charity Event, “Go RED Style Show” on Sunday will be a fast-paced event with lots of prizes and a fantastic “swag” bag (with lots of Coats & Clark thread, of course).
