PURSE:
Complete purse according to pattern instructions.
Buttonholes: Select matching or contrasting thread. We used Coats Multi- Color Cotton Machine Quilting Thread (V33) #819 Pink Passion.
Placement of buttonholes: Buttonholes are worked in pairs. Use the placement of the strap or handle as a guide. Mark the 2” buttonhole so that the top of the buttonhole is 1½ inches below the top edge of the bag and aligned with the strap. Space the second buttonhole ½ inch from the first.
Work 2 pairs on the front of the bag and 2 pair on the back, stitching through purse fabric and lining fabric. Carefully cut buttonholes. We have based the measurements given in the instructions below on a purse that measures approximately 30” around. If your pattern is smaller or larger, you will need to adjust the measurements to fit your pattern.

PREPPY BAG
Fold ribbon in half. Edge stitch long edges together. Thread the
cut end of ribbon through the 2 D-rings. Fold cut edge of
ribbon over ¼”. Turn down 1” of ribbon, enclosing D-rings
and stitch in place.
Tip: If you cannot locate striped ribbon, layer and stitch
several widths of grosgrain ribbon to create stripes.

SCARF
Cut two strips 36 " x 4½ ". Place strips right sides together
and using a ¼ inch seam allowance, sew one end together
creating a 72 " strip. Fold strip lengthwise, right sides together.
Stitch ends on the diagonal, and long side together leaving an
opening for turning. Trim corners. Turn to right side, press.
Sew opening closed.

ZING BOA
Gauge: 11 sts = 3½”; 13 rows = 4” in St st (K1 row, P1 row).
CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.
Cast on 11 sts. Work in St st, begin Knit row, for approximately
45”. Bind off. Weave in ends.
